10* Water pleasure in the city
10* Water pleasure in the city
Dynamic mapping system of the future of water experiences in Paris and Singapore from an ENSCI /NUS workshop with Romain Delamart and Terry Chin
In our actual context, water is a serious matter, it is being considered as an essential commodity for survival and also for everyday life but it is also a way to enjoy life as we have.
Water triggers imagination and pleasure. How could the actual pleasure we experience with water be a way to see and start solving the serious problems?
The first map considers indeed the water activities in regard of the climate, the transportation of the flow, the uses and the location. It allows a gradual understanding of the activities through a water-centered reading process.
The first circular flake-like map becomes the reference and substantiates the development of a second map which uses social and environemental indicators as a filtration tool to highlight interesting informations from the global map.
