A smart lightbulb ecosystem for the home, a project with EDF R&D on the internet of things supervised by Jean Louis Fréchin

Lubi was conceived to answer the problems of energy management in the home.

The project is divided into three parts.

Firstly, a range of smart light bulbs that form a network, secondly, a new electricity bill broken into consumption groups and thirdly, a web site that allows you to see what is spent live but also to modify the function of your Lubis to make them more playful.

The three Lubis were conceived in regards to the disppearance of incandescent light bulbs. You can plug them in anywhere easily, no need to have work done in the house to have a smart home. The Lubis are discrete, yet accessible thanks to a color string that allows  local control of the amount of light, heat and security in the home. More Lubis could be imagined.
